Jim Rogers co-founded the Quantum Fund and retired at age thirty-seven. Since then, he has served as a sometime professor of finance at Columbia University's business school, and as a media commentator worldwide. Rogers is the author of Hot Commodities, Adventure Capitalist and Investment Biker. He pioneered the Rogers International Commodities Index, a basket of 35 metals and industrial and agricultural products, which has risen more than 200 percent in value since July of 1998.
