We are seeking an experienced web applications developer to help us build best-in-class data-driven web sites, ecommerce systems, and critical business infrastructure. Our company is a rapidly growing direct-to-consumer financial research publishing firm, and this role provides a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our business. In this position, you would be responsible for the development and/or sourcing, implementation and maintenance of the systems needed for our next stages of growth.

Candidate should be comfortable working in a small distributed team environment. We do not have rigid development processes, unneeded bureaucracy, or long development cycles. Instead, our programming team is focused on rapid development and deployment, frequent iteration, and learning through experimentation and data. So, be prepared to write, test, and ship code in days or weeks, not months or years.
Working directly with an experienced team of entrepreneurs and marketers, your job will be to translate novel ideas to designs and implementations. Thus, you must have the ability to quickly get up to speed on the technologies you are not familiar with, and be in a position to recommend appropriate additions or changes to the infrastructure where required.
We offer a small company environment and, as such, everyone must be comfortable with multiple simultaneous responsibilities and driving decisions in ambiguous situations.
